I wanted to have better mobility, energy and try to lose weight because I was getting tired of injuring myself 3 or 4 times a year and going to physio for weeks at a time for each injury. Also I was looking to be able to do things that I use to do before when I was looking to start a program. Since starting I have more mobility and am stronger to where I am able to work again bent down and for longer periods of time without injuring myself. As well I have gotten a lot stronger, specifically in the core. With Sheldon, I don’t have to worry about making my program, because he knows how to work around my previous injuries and also motivates me each session, ensuring we are on the same team in my journey. The results I have obtained has been amazing and it’s the best gift you can give yourself.
I was over weight, didn't feel good, didn't look good, didn't have any energy. I wanted to make a life style change so I started a program. I feel great, I have alot more energy, I've lost 25 lbs of fat and gained muscle, lost several inches everywhere and my focus and concentration have drastically improved. The first thing for me was being held accountable. Learning the proper techniques and having expert advice for reaching my personal goals. Receiving support and encouragement helped me stay focused on my goals. I've joined different gyms in the past and the longest I've ever stayed was 3 months, but having Sheldon around kept me disciplined.
The reason I decided to start a program was because my wedding was coming up and after trying to do it on my own, I realized I needed someone to push me to help me reach my goals. I have achieved great result since starting with a program. My goals were simply to be more fit and Sheldon made sure to make that happen. On my wedding, only 2 months after starting the program I was completely satisfied and confident about myself. He also prepared me for what was coming up next. Becoming pregnant I had the chance to continue to have great workouts and stay fit because he made sure I was in great shape before and throughout the whole pregnancy. The best thing about having a trainer is that you know your going to have a great workout every time. Even the days when you don't feel like going or feel like pushing yourself, you still leave the gym satisfied because the trainer is there to push you. Having a program or trainer is also great when you don't really know what to do at the gym. Before having a trainer I would go to the gym and not really know what to do next and most of the time ended up going home way to earlier than I should've. If someone was on the fence about joining a program, I would simply just tell them to try. Within only one week with a program or trainer they would no longer be on the fence about their decision.
